Northwest Michigan Fair

August 6-12, 2023

For several years in a row, we’ve had fun together, met lots of people, and raised money to benefit local non-profits in addition to our own ministry goals. We have also held an evening “Prayer at the Fair” event to kick off the week, singing hymns, sharing the Gospel and praying for one another and the whole community.

THIS YEAR’S AGENDA:

Sunday, August 6, 2pm – Prayer at the Fair (all are welcome to sing hymns, pray, and hear a message of hope)

Monday, August 7 through Saturday, August 12 – Play BINGO with us from 1-4:30pm and 6-9:30pm ($0.25 per card or 5 cards for $1.00, cash prizes for every game!)

Wednesday August 9, 11:00 am – Kids’ Bingo! (a special game just for fun! Win toys & little prizes!)

THIS YEAR’S FUNDRAISERS:

Lake Ann Peace Park at Advent Lutheran Church. A place for quiet reflection, right here on Advent’s property, open to everyone from dawn until dusk. To feature a patio with tables, a prayer garden, a campfire pit, and an outdoor worship space.

4H Projects in Benzie County. We will share proceeds with our own local 4H kids and mentors, for the projects that directly benefit them.

Humanitarian Quilts and Personal Care Kits. Our needlecrafters work on projects every year for refugees, people in transition, and anyone in need.
