Rev. Chrysanne Timm
Pastor Chrysanne was appointed by Bishop Craig A. Satterlee to a two-year term call as Advent’s Transitional pastor, effective August 1st. She and her husband Craig come to Lake Ann from Sylvania, Ohio, where Chrysanne served as lead pastor of Olivet Lutheran Church. Her primary responsibilities are to lead worship and preach sermons that help us see God, trust God, and serve God’s purposes. She leads bible studies and will be working with our middle school Confirmation ministry. She is also available for prayer, conversation and pastoral counseling.
Some people view a pastor as the CEO of a congregation and its many ministries, but Pastor Chrysanne likens her role to the conductor of an orchestra – she interprets the score of God’s Word to us and then calls forth our talents and skills, all so that we might offer hope in our homes, neighborhoods, schools, workplaces and beyond.
